Fundraise

Fundraising is a great way to support Wings of Hope Northampton, whilst doing things you enjoy with friends and family.

Supporters taking part in fundraising plays an integral part to the charity, enabling us to serve as many people as possible.

There are many ways in which you can fundraise for the charity from holding cake sales, organising a sponsored walk to selling some home-made crafts.

Consider how your favourite things could raise money to put the FUN into fundraising.  Alternatively, could you try something new and challenging, like running a marathon or abseiling down the lift tower.  Whatever the challenge, it’s a great way to get people’s attention, whilst raising awareness of the charity along with raising funds.

Pray

We believe that God’s heart is full of compassion for those who are poor, downtrodden, hungry, and in need. Wings of Hope Northampton, is all about having that same compassion and showing God’s love for all people through practical help and empowering clients to make positive changes when they are ready..

When Jesus was on earth, one of the things he said was this, and this is what we live by: Love God, love others.

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your mind and with all your strength.’ And here is the second one. ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’ There is no commandment more important than these.

Prayer is talking to God about the things that trouble us, asking for help, dedicating people and activities to him, and thanking God for his help and his love. Everything we do is underpinned by prayer.
